Joe Serio, Vice President
Joe Serio began his career in precision optics manufacturing in 1995 as an optical fabrication technician. Over the past three decades, he has gained hands-on experience in nearly every facet of optics production, earning recognition as an industry expert in advanced manufacturing techniques and Lean Six Sigma principles.
He holds multiple professional credentials, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, internal ISO auditor, and Job Instruction Training (JIT) instructor. Joe’s leadership in process improvement, quality systems, and workforce training has helped shape a culture of operational excellence at Vertex Optics.
Joe’s academic background includes an A.A.S. in Optical Systems Technology from Monroe Community College and completion of the RTMA Mini MBA program through Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
