Vertex Optics is proud to announce that we have joined forces with Sydor Optics, uniting advanced curved optics expertise with expanded plano capabilities to deliver greater precision, capacity, and technical depth for our customers. This strategic acquisition expands advanced optics manufacturing capabilities and accelerates growth and innovation across both organizations. Together, the companies serve a wide range of markets, including aerospace, defense, semiconductor, medical, energy, and automotive.

The partnership will leverage shared resources, including advanced technologies like Magnetorheological Finishing (MRF) polishing, multiple 5 axis CNC machines for lightweighting, and 24” interferometry with stitching capability up to 1 meter. This enables significantly higher levels of precision for challenging applications.

For customers, this means enhanced solutions without disruption: existing relationships, processes, and points of contact at both Sydor Optics and Vertex Optics will remain unchanged. Customers will continue to benefit from the same dedicated service while gaining expanded options, including broader capabilities in high-end custom optics, improved scalability for complex projects, and accelerated innovation to solve previously unattainable challenges.
