What an incredible turnout for the 28th Annual Sydor Optics Clambake Fundraiser! Thanks to the generosity of our guests, sponsors, and supporters, and a generous matching contribution from SPIE, we raised a total of $31,000 to support the MCC Optics Program!
A special thank you to SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics for matching the funds raised and helping us make an even greater impact on the future of our local optics and photonics workforce.
We were also honored to have Alexis Spilman Vogt, PhD and Jonathan Sydor speak about the importance of MCC’s Optics Program and the vital role it plays in developing skilled talent for Rochester’s thriving photonics community.
To everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make this event possible, THANK YOU! Your support is helping inspire and prepare the next generation of optics professionals.
Here’s to strengthening Rochester’s optics and photonics community and investing in its future!
